Weapons Edit

Weapons do a specific amount of damage if they hit. Sometimes they deal extra damage if a condition is met, sometimes they are difficult to use and thus carry a trait penalty.

Unarmed (Physical + Brawl) Edit

  • Unarmed: 1 lethal damage.
  • Vampiric Bite: 1 aggravated damage, and you drain 1 blood.
  • Protean Claws: 1 aggravated damage.

Melee (Physical + Melee) Edit

  • Knife: 1 lethal damage.
  • Sword: -1 penalty, 2 lethal damage.
  • Club: 1 lethal damage, if you win the challenge (not win a tie) you deal +1 lethal damage.
  • Wooden Stake: -1 penalty, 1 lethal damage. If a vampire is staked, he may take a combat action to remove the stake. Otherwise he cannot spend blood points to heal himself while the stake remains.

Firearms (Physical + Firearms) Edit

  • Pistol: 1 lethal damage.
  • Heavy Pistol: -1 penalty, 1 lethal damage, if you win the challenge (not win a tie) you deal +1 lethal damage.
  • Rifle: -2 penalty, 1 lethal damage, if you win the challenge (not win a tie) you deal +1 lethal damage.
  • Shotgun: -2 penalty, 2 lethal damage, if you win the challenge (not win a tie) you deal +1 lethal damage.
  • Shotgun (Incendiary)*: -3 penalty, 2 aggravated damage, if you win the challenge (not win a tie) you deal +1 aggravated damage.
  • SMG: -4 penalty, 2 lethal damage, if you win the challenge (not win a tie) you deal +2 lethal damage.
  • SMG (AP)**: -4 penalty, 2 lethal damage, if you win the challenge (not win a tie) you deal +2 lethal damage.
  • Shotguns may be loaded with incendiary ammunition. Only three such shots may be fired from a single shotgun before it is ruined:
    • SMGs may be loaded with armor-piercing rounds. These rounds ignore armor, but inflict -1 damage against creatures with even a single level of Fortitude.

Armor Edit

Improvised Armor: +1 health level. When damage taken, the armor is destroyed. Bullet-resistant Vest: +2 health levels that only absorb firearm damage. When two damage has been taken, the armor is destroyed. Body Armor: +2 health level. When two damage has been taken, the armor is destroyed.
