Status Positions Edit

There may only be one member of each status position, excepting Primogen. One may only hold a single status position at a time unless one is primogen, in which case one may also hold a single other non-Prince position.

Prince: +3 to all challenges. Once per night, may make a special retest on any check. The prince may nominate characters for any status except Primogen (which is automatically determined).

Primogen: +1 to all challenges. Not appointed nor necessarily one from each clan, but rather a recognition of the domain's leading citizens. Primogens are automatically selected from amongst the kindred that control the most power, in descending order. There are always at least three primogen, though there may be more depending on how many players your chronicle has. They may participate in votes to ratify a status, or call for votes to review said position. They may also nominate individuals for certain status.

Sheriff: +2 to all challenges. The sheriff is nominated by the prince and must be ratified by a unanimous primogen vote. If no ratification is possible, there cannot be a sheriff.

Harpy: +2 to all social challenges. The harpy is nominated by the prince and ratified by a majority primogen vote. If no ratification is possible, there cannot be a harpy.

Scourge: +2 to physical challenges. The scourge is nominated by the prince and ratified by a majority primogen vote. If no ratification is possible, there cannot be a scourge.

Keeper of Elysium: +2 to mental challenges. The keeper is nominated by the prince and ratified by a majority primogen vote. If no ratification is possible, there cannot be a keeper.

Negative Status Edit

Blood Hunt: -2 to all challenges and you cannot hold any rank. Blood hunts are nominated by the Prince, and the Primogen must vote unanimously to ratify it. There may be any number of blood hunt statuses active, though they are usually reserved for the worst of crimes.

Anarch: -1 to social challenges and you cannot be a primogen. The Prince or any Primogen may nominate a character as an anarch, and the Primogen must vote a majority to ratify it. There may be any number of anarch statuses active, though they are usually reserved for younger kindred that have acted disrespectfully.

Diablerist: -2 to social challenges and you cannot be a primogen. The Prince or any Primogen may nominate a character as a diablerist, and the Primogen must vote a majority to ratify it. Diablerie is often a blood hunted offense, but your situation was different. Perhaps you diablerized a member of the Sabbat, or a blood hunted criminal accidentally, undoubtedly there were extenuating circumstances. You tried to keep it a secret, but...

Assamite: +1 physical challenges, -2 to social and mental challenges. The Prince or any Primogen may nominate a character as an assamite, and the Primogen must vote a majority to ratify it. You are well known as someone who slays his own kind. Whether this dubious reputation is deserved or not is not relevant, the elders believe it so it must be true. In either case, it's distracting, and makes it hard to get around in Kindred circles anonymously.
